Garden Retreat is within easy reach of such wonderful attractions as Farewell Spit - with its internationally renowned wetland and bird sanctury, the Heaphy Track, and Kahurangi and Abel Tasman National Parks.
We are just a two minute drive from the very popular swimming and fishing beach at Patons Rock and conveniently located to the many other attractions of beautiful Golden Bay.
We are always happy to share our knowledge of the local attractions, eateries, artists, nature walks and other points of interest to make your stay extra enjoyable.

You'll find the Garden Retreat B & B signposted as number 598 on the Main State Highway 60 between Takaka to Collingwood. Just 8km from Takaka township and just before the Patons Rock beach turn off. Set back off the road at the end of a tree lined drive, there is plenty of car parking space.
